Unless your lipo states it is capable of 2C charging, stick with 1C or less. Most lipos are 1C charge rates. Charging at higher rates can damage your lipo and you'll get less life than sticking with 1C charge rate.
For a 5000mah lipo, 1C charger is 5000/1000 = 5amps. A 2C charger woul dbe 10amps. I have a TC 1030 charger too - you'll need a separate balancer unless you're running Orions and I'd still get one anyway.
