Neat, cheap hopup - add 6 more pegs to the slipper and run 12 instead of 6, makes slipper better. Tighten til spring binds and loosen no more than 1/4T. I keep mine at 1/8T - looser slips too much.

I 'd screw the adjuster in until you feel the spring unde it start to resist. Test it and see where you are. From there, its T&E, 1/8T at a time. CCW to lower shift point and CW to raise it.
