The Idea was to be able to buy one set of blue printed cases and never need another set. The bearing journals are relieved and the shock towers won't pull the screws out in a crash. Alot of TC3 guys actually run their screws loose on the cases to free up the car (which leaves you vulnerable to a mid run tweak). You can crank these down and the car will still be free.
