And here's another scenario, I would imagine it would be possible to tune a speedo for a particular track, taking into consideration the length of the straights and number of turns (and Trips you would try this!). But this would take hours of track time and experimentation, and when you finally had it perfect...
they change the track on you!

Voltage could be part of the map. It all depends on how things are set-up and how much memory they have onboard. Even with an assumed voltage (battery type) it would be a lot better than what we have now.
