the usual problem is that your idle is to high or your sensor is bad i had the same problem so what i did is go to the robinson metal gears (which has no reverse foward only)and have never had a problem stripping gears besides if you drive good you dont need reverse plus if something is in the way just run it over it is a monster truck lol
