Hi all
First let me say that a lot of racers at our track have these ESC's and they are great, they are sensored & sensorless, forward/reverse, they come with a capacitor (like the Novak GTB, they are about the same size). it can be set without any tools. the motor wires are a bit too short however for a rear motor vehicle (an oversight by Orion?).
Cost is $140.00 ish.
This ESC (vortex)is made by hobbywing. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXVAF3&P=7

This one(vortex racing pro) http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&P=SM&I=LXVSS7 is the pro version it is sensored only and is forward/brake only (no reverse), is made by KO Propo (it says so right on the sticker) very low profile(not very high off the chassis). needs a "setting box" to get the most out of it (not yet at the shops as far as I know).
Cost is $265.00.
Hope this clears it up for ya.
