The 6S 3900 actually touches the 8E body a hair. The 3300 sits below it about a 1/8". Has anyone heard of a lipo catching on fire because of impact in a car?
Nope, in fact, the only time I saw one burn in a car, was due to being left connected for days and over-discharging.
I've seen a 3S in a small electric plane crashed and the end of the battery smashed. He STILL flies with it, and it works fine!
The fires I've seen, have to do with brain farts, not impacts.
