It all depends on your response and the amount of grip on the track. The track we run, is sprayed with lots of soda. Tons of traction, so I always use the most aggressive setting possible. If it starts to rain, or become slick I will goto one of the less aggressive setting.

You could always start with the default setting, and then try more aggressive settings.
