i used to add one AE aluminum washer under the front pivot when i raced a 12L years ago on asphalt. this causes a preload of the fiberglass t-bar. it enabled me to run a really soft shock set-up to set the car suspension really soft. especially helped in keeping the chassis from hitting when the power was hammered down.
