I was afraid to say that one becuase I thought I recalled reading somewhere that injecting after run oil into the carb by the fuel line would cause the o-ring life to be shorter.

You should always inject after run oil down the air intake or glow plug hole

I guess a little oil one time couldn't hurt much though.
