could you post a 17.5 setup too? i have read the last 20 pages of this thread multiple times and am getting more confused not less.
my preferred application would 1/12 if that matters.
also just to clarify what the current tuning priorities are with 1.89 firmware:
1) get minimum lap times by adjusting rollout and 'boost' with 0 (or minimum) physical timing on the motor, without overheating the can.
2) adjust all other parameters for personal taste.
does this sum up the situation? or is there other concerns?

hey avs. we run timing boost at max and 0 degrees on motor for 1/12 scale
i run donny lias setup as he is a friend of mine and i race at his track regularly
