AE may have that in the future. Its not like it takes much to make a Limited edition electric RC8T like they did with the RC8.
that said, if you don't want to wait, or, you want to use longer batteries, I have to say that the RCM conversio for the RC8T is really something. It moves the battery weight over and gives you a nice trick chassis setup too. Also, you get the excellent customer service of RC Monster.
Only thing I would recommend looking into is different chassis braces as I had issue with the stock RC8T chassis braces.
