Being that this is a nitro car, any 1/10 scale sedan (nitro) rims should work. I would suggest the HPIRacing drift tires. Tamiya and Yokomo make drift tires as well but these are probably easier to find.

Just be sure he's getting Nitro(Hard rubber), not Electric(Plastic) Drift tires. He'll also have to set up his camber and toe-in on the car to get any kind of controllable drifts. That's another whole topic.
