The D8 doesn't include the lightened chassis and other lightened parts.
I'm not sure if they have done anything to correct this but when it first came out the plastic was buttery soft. Hence the completely solid arms to try to keep them stiff enough.
The new plastic on the losi 2.0's is alot better and alot stiffer than the 1.0 plastic was.
