Well in this case it is a Venom motor & the over heat didn't kick in, can got to 109c!! Currently waiting a replacement or if I can get one. Talk about not happy jan.

BTW - both systems don't cut the motor if temp goes over 60F - so don't trust it to kill the power if it gets too hot.

Apart from that they seem pretty good ESC's lol
the sensor systems are crap and dont work no matter what .just use it sensorless and use a heat sink and fan thats the best way .

When i designed our 120 amp brushless esc i designed it sensorless and the reasons why is that the motor sensor must be the same resistance and specs of the esc and i dont make motors i can tell you this most companies who have esc and motors i can guarantee you that motor and esc are not in the same spec or made from the same factory as a match for the sensor to work properly.The only one probably is Novak were everything is matched and made under one roof.
