Hi Craig,

What do you have for tires? Maybe a soft foam like Green would help. I always start with Jaco double pinks in the rear and double pink & orange in the front. Then you can go to a softer compound based on your run.

In my experience you'll want to soften the suspension, not firm it up if you're looking for more grip. Make sure your rear tow in is maximum.

Get your gears so you hit top speed on your longest straight, and then use your ESC or radio to help control spin outs on initial power. Many TXs allow you to set a curve on acceleration.

My 2 cents, but there's some experts out here that will have other ideas too.
