some people still get this mixed up. when the plug is out and you turn it over and it gets stuck at TDC that is Pinch. when the plug is tight and you turn it over that is the compression. so to not start an argument as told to me by Rody of RB, when the metal Pinch at TDC is gone than the breakin is complete, it takes some longer than others so dont rush it. after the pinch is gone with the plug tight you should have a lot of compression. i used to ask the same thing, but even when the pinch is gone it still takes a little more fuel for them to be just right and most it is at the gallon mark.
