I have a TA05R that I run for VTA. I've been reading about shaft drive cars, honestly never had one, so I've been considering stepping up to an EVO 5.
Just wondering on opinions between the 2. From my understanding, with the mild motor and the fact that it's brushless, there shouldn't be any noticable torque.

I run a shaft-drive TB02 in VTA. No torque steer with the 21.5. Shaft drive cars are supposedly snappier down low but I can't say that I really notice the difference. At VTA speeds I also don't think you'll see gains moving to a chassis like the EVO 5 from your TA05R.
