I run a shaft-drive TB02 in VTA. No torque steer with the 21.5. Shaft drive cars are supposedly snappier down low but I can't say that I really notice the difference. At VTA speeds I also don't think you'll see gains moving to a chassis like the EVO 5 from your TA05R.
