Rated at 2S lipo with the Titanium gear train.

My only complaint with JR servos is their metal geared servos tend to develop a lot of slop over time. I run 8717's extensively in heli's and several of them have developed slop to the point where I need to replace the gear train. It's a known issue and many air and heli 87xx servo users have reported it. The aluminum gear train in these servos is very wear prone. To make matters worse the deadband on the servo is so small even the slightest wear starts to become an oscillation. I'm not sure how much of this applies to car stuff as our Air and Heli servos are connected directly to control surfaces in most cases.

Unfortunately the "fix" is the 87xx HV line's new steel geartrain...at double the price tag...

Haven't tried the Hitec 75xx stuff yet, I think they will be the next servo I try. Most of the large scale guys are starting to ditch JR due to their gear train issues. Originally Hitec servos suffered from resolution and accuracy issues, however they seem to have redesigned their electronics for the 75xx stuff.
I would think a lot of the crawler guys would be moving to these for there higher torque rating compaired to the 7955tg's.
