if you just want balls out speed, look into an XTM nitro xcellerator. fastest 2wd rtr ive driven. cheap and parts are dirt cheap. got some good reviews in the mags. and ive driven one to a number of victories against rc10's and the losi's, handle really well out of the box...they are sold by hobbypeople and i think tower carries them also
