Personally, I'd wait until it gets warmer , unless you have an indoor track to run at, then go ahead with either of the 2 methods mentioned above.

Make sure it's at least 150f before starting ( not just the engine head, but the block too, warm the ENTIRE engine up) and at least 200f when running with a steady oil drip coming from the exhaust pipe ( then you'll know it's not too lean)
