Instead of reading through all the threads searching for info pertaining just to this topic, figured it was easier to start a thread.

The main issue concerning running E with Nitro is managing pitting fairness.

* Can an E run an easy 30min or will there need to be 1 batt change?
* How long does it take to change a battery in a hurry.

If you have witnessed or have experienced running 1/8 Es with nitro's, please comment.
You will have to do a battery swap. No setup will run 30 minutes reliably under race conditions without a battery swap. I would set the car up so you can reliably run 15 minutes under race conditions and do the swap at the 15 minute mark.

It takes about 20-30 seconds to do a battery swap. The tracks I have raced at generally will just let that count as your pit stop since it is equal to about 4 or 5 nitro pit stops.
