Look at gearchart.com I think 40/70 will work if you can find a pinion that big.

Can the center pulley be changed to a larger one so the Spur/pinion sizes aren't so ridiculous?

I've found spur pinion combos in 64p that will work, barely, but nothing in 48p. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks for any help. We were racing 10.5 and just switched, and I'm having a hard time finding sources for spur/pinion to get a 3.5 fdr.

Thanks
