Well there is something to be said about a car that is well worn in and looser than a tight newly built chassis. I'd assume the looseness helps with speed in the turns.
actually no with all the slop it's a hand full to drive and cut the corners tight. a unpredictable car is never easy to drive even if loose is fast. a smooth rolling car can be had with a new car and a little work, and it will always be better then a worn in/out car.
