I think foams on asphalt are the only way to go. We run the BSR tires on our pan cars and can get almost an entire season out of them. Also I ran the CRC foams on my TC3 with a 5.5, 2s lipo setup and would get over a month out of them running every wednesday and then practicing every other saturday while the 1/8 late models were running just to prove how slow their nitro cars really were. We did use both jack the gripper and paragon compounds effectively.
