Only cogging I've seen mentioned is when rolling backwards (like down a hil that you didn't quite make it up over) and trying to go forward again. Othe than that, haven't read any complaints about cogging with the Monster.
If you'll update the firmware in your MM to the latest, that new software is supposed to all but eliminate cogging.
