I do know some of the problem was that you couldn't run any other tires with the car other then Jaco as it has an offset to the rim. BSR and Calandra don't have as much if any offset. And the main reason they did it is you can't run legal width with the car as it is, balanced, the 172mm roar width only works if you use no shims I think. If you shim the stock pod balanced it comes out 174 or 175mm all the R5s in vegas ran wide but as Vegas didn't check width it wasn't caught. now this is just what I heard.
