OK I found one wrong thing....the screws I used to mount the motor are 1mm to long. The end of the screw is just touching the winding inside the motor. I see "a little black" on the winding as if shorted. Maybe the winding was shorting against the motor case? Over drawing current? Is this possible and therefore causing the esc to go into cutoff mode?
