Hi meno222. Nothing wrong with the 5 Port in a buggy. A lot of guys run the 5 Port in their buggies and love it. Set up all depends on the size and design of the track you run and the traction you are getting off the circuit.
The 086 or GO 0801 is the pipe to use on the 5 Port, so you are sweet there. Your diff oils sound OK (don't go any more than 5 in the centre). Maybe go to 1 in the rear.
If you want to tame things down a little and get better run times put a 7 mm restrictor in (6.5 if you really want to smooth the motor out). Shoes and springs all comes back to the track and surface you run. Really loose and slippery, .9 springs and maybe carbon shoes. Lots of traction, 1.1 springs and alloy shoes. Compromise, 1.0 springs and alloy shoes.
I currently run 1.1 springs with alloy shoes and 6.5 mm restrictor on my modded 5 Port and it is smooth and drivable on our medium sized, sometimes dusty and relatively tight track. Just experiment with these base settings until you find what works for you.
