Given the small price difference between the 4s 5000 and 5s 5000 packs I chose to go with the 5s for a bit more efficiency. If you're racing you could use either 4 or 5, 6 would be WAY too much. The 20c rated Zippys are plenty good, no need for the 30c rated ones.
Thanks for the input Miller. I think i'll try the 5s and see what kind of power output I'm looking at.
I heard setting the throttle end point back is a bad thing though. Does anyone know why that is? It's just simply giving the motor less throttle from the ESC so I don't see the problem. Does it have something to do with the lower efficiency from partial throttle compared to full throttle?
