The older version had this design. That version was made by Toki and made by the original ideas.
The new Orion's are made by Picco and lots of the original ideas are gone like the angled hole through the crankshaft and the slits in the sleeve which makes this version more like any other Picco engine.
The hole is still angled in the crankshaft (altough to a lesser degree) and it has the slots that send extra fuel mixture in the crankcase lateral canal. So in reality crankcase, crankshaft, piston/liner are all different than the Picco counterparts.
The vertical slits have been removed because of manufacturing limitations.
