A new points season starts next week - come join the fun.

Yesterday we (7 1/2 of us) had a meeting and determined some rules that we will run for our slash class at Marcca. Here they are.

1. Corr type bodies only - any manufacturer.

2. Stock Traxxas slash rubber tires and rims only - no modifications to the tread like grooving.

3. No motor or Battery limits. You will find out that rubber tires will make excess power unnecessary and counterproductive.

4. Only 1/10 scale shocks are allowed - any oils - any springs etc.

5. All other mods are allowed at this time to the other parts of the truck.


Our intention is to keep this a class an enjoyable, fair and fun class to run for everyone. As new parts become available, we reserve the right to change these rules by a majority vote of those running the class.

This is how I remember the rules being set yesterday. If anyone disagrees please PM me and I shall fix this upon verification with others.


As a side note.... last night Bob Hommen with his bone stock slash posted TQ and took the main win in the trucks maiden run. Excellent driving Bob.
With 8 trucks running different motor combinations, the top four finished within 5 seconds of each other. The rubber tires really level out the field more than anything and add a ton of fun to the class.
