I think the idea here is to work with what he already has, and to see if it can be done. By dropping to a 9-10T pinion over stock, you can cut the trans speed by well over 1/2. Largest Spur is a 54T I believe...

Mini-Rock Crawler
13-tooth = 92:1
14-tooth = 86:1 (stock)
15-tooth = 80:1

Yes, the MRC has a taller final drive ratio, but this is to see if a Raminator can be made into a crawler of sorts. I think it can to a point.

I have all of this in my head, as I was going to do this with a Mini LST2.....but I decided to order a MRC as I got it for 205$ shipped ....and I might want to compete in the future as well, for fun.
