I agree, but sometimes it's the fun of working with what you already have and making changes to it to suit your needs that makes the hobby fun.
I paid 205$ shipped each for my 2 crawlers, but the Losi raminator was just on sale for 99$ (I bought 3
) for the longest time at A Main.
Obviously out of the box it might not compete well, but if you lock all 3 diffs, and gear that motor way down, you can prob have some fun with it that will not be permanent changes to the truck.
My guess is that the Losi crawler wheels fit the other Losi 1/18th 4WD vehicles. If not....maybe the stock rims could be narrowed down a bit to compress the tires a little taller.....just a thought.
