Chmabers - good question! I have seen 4-8 gallons depending on the person. I had 5 team guys return there engines and they had problems. come to find out the rods were toast. they had 2-4 gallons on there's. Now I know myself and a few other team guy had 6-8 gallons before they needed to be replaced. The difference between the guys who had issues early and the others who didnt.. was break in process.

EB was breaking in our engines on a stand wide open super rich with 500cc of fuel ran through them.

Myself and a few others were breaking them in slowly on a stand with heat cycles.

Now to deceide which way is right or wrong.... who can say.. Everyone has there own opinions and voo doo break in processes. I just know from my experiences slow is better and until someone figures out a better way I will keep doing it slowly..
