Yes, I ran standard 5 and 7 ports before I got my Massive Mods motors.
My standard 7 port had the wrist pin retaining clip break, which knackered the piston and sleeve. I got a new PSR set and sent the sleeve over to Mark at MMods for a Stage 3 spruce up. Just getting to the 1 gallon mark on it now and its very nice. Makes for a sweet back up / play motor.
The Stage 5 5 Port I am running in my XRay is direct from Mark. Mate, the workmanship on these motors is superb The Stage 5 which is what I would recommend, includes a lot of work on the crank and sleeve, plus mods to the piston and con rod also. My 5 port has been a pleasure to break in and run. It will keep up with anything on the track (it's only the driver thats lacking).
I would highly recommend contacting Mark at Massive Mods and getting one of his motors. Service and after sales advice etc is top notch, plus his being in Australia makes it a lot easier for us NZ guys (not to mention our exchange rates being a little closer).
I will PM you regarding a few other details.
