But whenever I turn the wheel and let it center again it shakes again. It seems that this is also drastically reducing the the charge life of the reciever pack.

Just wondering whether anybody could shed some light on what may be causing this issue? Whether it be a servo or reciever problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it is very possible that it is the servo... if yo have another one to try see what happens. servo motors start to shake when they are going bad. i would just try another servo and see what happens
