I actually thought about this. I have converted many many cars. But never a touring car

I know my MTX4R was a hell of a lot stronger then my cyclone So IDK. It might work well or might be pointless

Id run a Neu 1509 on 3, or 4s. Pick a motor that gives you 30-35,000 RPM and gear for how ever fast a gas car goes (IDK there...)

For 4s, Id go with a 3D (2250 KV) Or a 2D for 3s. Personally, id do 4s, run a 2200-2500 mah lipo would be good for 15-20 mins of racing

I would not go with 2s. To low of voltage, to high KV to make it worth while and work well. The car will be about the same with 4s, just alot more efficient because your using voltage to make RPM over KV
