Hi bigal,
the main thing that causes battery drain is overstressing your servo due to the end pionts being set incorrectly.
If your end pionts are right for both servos then you should be fine just make sure there is no binding thoughout the entire suspention travel on the steering and allow a little leaway on the throttle and brake for chassis flex.
most people set their end pionts while the car is sitting on a bench at normal ride height and don't think of the changes due to suspention travel and chassis movement.
