my method is a bit extreme,but i opened up my dx3r and dx3 and spaced them out so the throw was more inline with the motion of my finger instead of striaght with the unit.most of the trigger assemblies are there own little units screwed to the housing.it required i little grinding to the housing as well.

yes it would probably void any warranties,but that didnt bother.if you dont feel comfortable doing it,i wouldnt try it.i can say it made a world of difference for my short fingers.
