The 625 and 645 are great servos but in my opinion they are at the lower end of what a 1/8 buggy needs. The 645 would be great for throttle/brake but a 200+oz/in torque servo would be better for steering.
I have a 2 inch streched Savage X With ofna super offset wheels
This truck is raced , bashed and smashed. Hs-645mg for throttle/brake( a little slow , but strong) and an Hs-985mg for steering. Been abusing this servo for the last 6 months . no problems yet
985Mg is under 200 OZ but is holding out.
I also have this servo for steering my AX-10 Scorpion (gets a little warm , but after 50 hours of crawling it hasn't missed a beat
