The Protoform Stratus 3.1 is the body that works in most track conditions and in my opinion, pretty neutral all around. Good amount of front steering and good stability.
I know you mentioned you're partial with Protoform but just for the sake of having another choice of a Touring Car body, it would be the Civic Central Body, IMO.
