I'm not sure about 6.5 but I run mine in 1/12th with 13.5. In Hybrid mode you'll find you have very little brakes and drag brakes even maxed out with a 13.5. Run it in Sensored Only mod and you will have all the brakes you need and more. I'm not sure how the brake are running a motor as low as a 6.5. My car isn't near me right now so I don't know where my drag brake is set.
