^^ same here. I struggled with the AM, glitching, non responsive. After a year I forked out for a 2nd hand 3pk, and it makes EVERYTHING so much easier.
There are a number of things you can check/do. As well as the other comments here, try:
- Keeping your reveiver as far away from your esc and motor as possible.
- twist the wires to your motor, and keep them close to each other.
- add a ferrite bead to your esc signal wire
- make sure you have reaonable capacitors on your motor
- get a glitch buster for your esc.
All of the above are inexpensive steps that may give you a whole lot more control. Worked for me until I started racing down the road from a TV station!
