I wouldn't agree with that totally. I'm sure some 1/8 guys love them, but I don't know how many. In fact most people I know that have done conversions are using Enerland cells because they're known to be the best available. I personally use NeuEnergy in my XT8 and would not consider Maxamps for a conversion.

Besides, NeuEnergy lipos are on a pretty sweet deal right now. I just bought a 6s 4300 for $150.
