Think of the speed difference between the 3.0 and the DX3S similar to the difference in speed between the original modules and the Pro-Series Equipment. I know when I interviewed John Adams he also stated that the DX3S is faster. Latency is also only one piece of the puzzle when it comes to the overall speed and responsiveness of a radio.
