the majority of the slop is from the gap between the steering post and bearing that holds it upright, at least for me and 3 other tc5's ive seen in past 2 weeks. threadlock will cure most of the tc5 steering slop problems. its not easy to tell that the steering post and bearing is the source of the majority of the slop. the only way to tell is to just apply threadlock and compare the slop before and after. try it-should be a night and day type of result!
