for awhile in the U.S. the engines came with a long low speed needle it changed the way the engine needed to be tuned and had a lot of people complain about the carb. The engines now feature the older short LSN and those issues have gone away, I have never ran anything but a Go carb on my engines and have worked thru the issues with the previous generation carbs, the factory has updated the carb many times and it is a solid carb. now with no issues.

One thing people need to remember when tuning the Go engines is that the needles are much more sensitive then other carbs. so when you have the engine close to tune a 1 hour change may be to much.

Ed did a complete test of the carb at his work shop and said that it is a solid carb and one of the best hes worked with, including how well it insulates the fuel the pull and any other issues, like I said just remember the needles are sensitive and you won't have a single issue.
