Yes unfortunately it seems like that is the case. We are still two weeks out and we can still modify the rules. Tom is in Vegas right now and I will get with him later this week on some of these questions. No reason not to allow lipos and I am not sure who made that decision. It is the Spec class and you have the option of moving to the open class that allows both Lipo and Nmh.

This race sounds great but many of us will actually have to buy more stuff just to run this race. IE Factory assemled NmH battery. So if Keith build your pack does that count as Factory assembled?
