Parking lot bashing tracks can be huge too
The selection of engine will depend on your track and more importantly the available gearing on the car.
If your car has very high final drive ratios (small pinions, big spurs), then a high revving NS12 engine can do the job nicely. OS engines have more bottom end and you can get away with large pinions / small spurs combo.
Power is nothing without control. You can be fast, but what's the use if you cannot handle it?
